We're excited to share the Vuforia Studio 10.4 release, which delivers continued improvements across the platform with updates that enhance stability, reliability, and day‑to‑day usability.

Vuforia View Device Support Deprecation

As part of the Vuforia Studio 10.4 release, we're sharing important updates to Vuforia View device support to help customers plan for future deployments. Details for each affected platform are outlined below.

RealWear Devices

Support for Vuforia View on RealWear devices is being deprecated.

• Vuforia View 10.4 is the final supported release available on RealWear.
• Existing installations of the Vuforia View app on RealWear devices are expected to remain operational.
• No further updates, fixes, or technical support will be provided for Vuforia View on RealWear devices.

HoloLens 2 

Support for Vuforia View on HoloLens 2 is also being deprecated as part of the broader platform direction for Vuforia products.

• No further improvements or fixes are planned for HoloLens 2.
• Existing projects targeting HoloLens 2 devices must remain on their current version of Vuforia Studio.
• The use of HoloLens 2 devices for new projects is discouraged.

Vuforia View will continue to be actively supported and released on Android and iOS mobile devices, which remain the recommended platforms going forward. Customers currently using RealWear or HoloLens 2 devices are encouraged to review their deployment plans and consider supported platforms for future Vuforia View initiatives.

Bug Fixes & Minor Improvements for a Smoother Authoring Experience

Vuforia Studio 10.4 continues our focus on platform quality, delivering a set of targeted improvements and refinements. While this release does not introduce new features, it includes meaningful updates that improve stability, reliability, and the overall authoring experience.
